Time goes fast time goes slowly

How often do you hear people saying “time goes fast”? This is especially common when you meet someone you haven’t seen for a long time. When we don’t see each other grow old, it obviously seems that time went by in a flash.

But when we deconstruct all those years how we spend our time, lifetime feels like a really long period of time. Three years ago, I started to work on my web application to track personal finances and do budgeting. When I look at my initial ideas in my notebook and think how many hours were spent to get where I am right now, it feels like an eternity.

When we constantly involved in something, we harder notice the change. It’s not that time is moving quickly through us, but we moving quickly through time.

To feel the longevity of life is to give yourself time to disconnect—to do nothing, like taking a walk and get lost in your own thoughts. We all should stop where we are and spend more time in our own company.
